Violet raised an eyebrow, amused by the boy’s response. “Well, I certainly need to keep warm from that awfully cold tone. Sarcasm is so overused nowadays,” she said, muttering that last part under her breath and shaking her head. She looked around the place, wondering where he had appeared from so suddenly. Violet thought she would’ve seen or at least heard him. “Anyways, it’s kind of creepy to sneak up on someone like that, especially when they think they’re alone.”

The creature smirked at her words. Perhaps it had been ‘cold’, but the excuse had been laughably weak and the Ifrit did not regret pointing it out. A brow quirked at her next words, looking around them with its hands behind its back. Creepy, indeed. Still, she didn’t give any inclination she knew what it was, and so Iblis wasn’t concerned. She looked young for a human, and no signs of being Muslim. It wasn’t as entertaining playing with humans who didn’t fear its name, but that was just a momentary setback.
